He emerged as the overall best graduating student of Imo State University in the 7th convocation of the state university which held on the 18th of march 2016 with a CGPA of 4.71 in the faculty of Health Sciences, department of Optometry Imo State University, Owerri.
According to his speech, he said despite the fact that he lost his father during the period he was admitted into the university, he did not let that weigh him down. He encouraged students of Imo State University to work hard and pray hard as well, as it is the only way to succeed as a student.
In addition, another one million naira was given to him by Hon. Deacon Chike Okafor, representing Okigwe South Federal constituency at the House of Representatives, and the Chief of staff, government House Owerri, Hon. Uche Nwosu.
He was also given a brand new car by chief Innocent, the pro Chancellor of the institution and the CEO of Innoson group of campany (Innoson cars). Another honorable member of the state House of representative, Hon. Mathew Omegara egually gave him the sum of N50,000 for fueling of his car.
He was inducted and decorated as a member of imsu alumni on the course of the programme.
Congrats to him and thanks for making the Nigerian optometry profession proud.

No he was my senior colleague(one year ahead of me). He is now a millionaire Doctor, lol!
